The “C.A.R.E.E.R” Dislocated Worker Grant program is designed to provide access to much needed, expanded supports for eligible Dislocated Workers having difficulty transitioning to gainful employment. The primary focus of this grant will be to offer participants reliable access to a broad menu of enhanced and augmented supportive services that typically are not available under the constraints of formula funded program training budgets. By providing this more comprehensive program design approach to enrollment, the intent is to reach certain sub-populations of eligible Dislocated Workers, who in the past, have not been able to fully engage in services because of persistent hardship demands keeping them on the sidelines of labor force participation.
